Opened in 2020, Pinnacle Living at Ferry Forts had a bit of a rough start. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, many of the rental units that we had newly constructed and were so excited to fill sat vacant for months on end. But, we have since made a full recovery and have established an incredible community of independent, engaging, and kind individuals who have helped to make this facility feel like a home!
Our team constantly strives to offer each of our residents the right living accommodations for their needs. We are not a retirement or assisted living facility but rather an independent living option for adults of 55 years or older that wish to move into a thriving community. We maintain the grounds and communal spaces, offer services and amenities, and provide a 24 hour emergency call system in each room, but our residents lead happy self-sufficient lifestyles and are free to enjoy everyday to the fullest!
Pinnacle Living at Ferry Forts has a total of 62 units and is a relatively small facility, but our size allows us to provide a neighborly feeling you just won’t be able to get at a larger complex. Our grounds are clean, quiet, and well maintained and while the availability of our units may change, we always love to hear from new applicants interested in joining our community. “I am 63, husband is 70. We moved to Pinnacle 7 months ago. We love it here. A perfect combination of privacy (2 bdrm apartment) and community. Building is new, well maintained. Activities range from aqua-size in our indoor heated pool next to the sauna and hot tub, to Jeopardy, trips, potlucks, book clubs, movies in luxurious movie theater, walks, gardening club and gentle exercise classes. We have a shared breakfast buffet (no other meals) but we also have a monthly birthday party and happy hour with drinks and snacks. Garages for those who choose to pay extra. Outside parking. Grandkids and guests come to swim and play. What’s not to like?”
“I’ve been at Pinnacle for almost two years and I love it here. My apartment is perfect for me, there are many opportunities available for participation and the pool area is great for relaxation. I’ve made many new friends and connected with some former friends. And on top of all that, the staff is outstanding.
